Go 4 Organics are passionate about helping growers and home gardeners improving their Soil and we have a range of certified natural organic products that promote improved soil health leaving no residues. Our products reflect this, and providing this prize, worth $127, adds to assisting with increased knowledge for you.
Joel Salatin will discuss increased farm productivity by stacking complimentary enterprises and improving your soil health. These principles can be applied to any garden. Instead of planting the same crops in the same place continually – therefore stripping the land of the required nutrients, complementary stacking of crops and rotation add to the improved soil health to build resilience both economically and ecologically, with the added bonus of not only increased yields but extra yields from other crops being added.
Christine Jones will discuss microbes and soil health – how these microbes behave to add resistance to pests and diseases along with tolerance to drought, frost and nutrient deficiencies. Essentially this is done by improving soil health, and Christine will go into this in detail.
Soil health is important and we offer a range of certified organic products to aid in both improving and maintaining soil health and compliment the workshop discussions.
